Biosketch
Madison Quiroz is a first-generation student at Texas A&M, from El Paso, Texas. In the past, she has worked with the USDA Cotton and Germplasm unit as well as under another professor working with peppers, watermelons, and melons. She will be joining the Horticultural Crop Physiology Lab to assist with research on nano plastics in one of the favorite leafy greens, spinach. In the future, she hopes to make a difference in the agricultural world and find a position that focuses on developing solutions aimed at improving farm productivity and sustainability.
